Dave and I met through Craigslist. Our first several conversations happened via email before meeting the first time in person. April 23, 2013 I agreed to met Dave in person. I don’t remember where we were supposed to meet originally but we ended up meeting at Nick & Jimmy. As I approached the bar Dave jumped down from the barstool and as I looked down at him I immediately stated “we can be friends” (I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment he knew he was going to fall in love with me) Dave didn’t seem bothered by this statement or the fact that I was taller than him. We spent the next few months as friends hanging out doing countless random things while finding out that we had more in common than I thought we would. One day we were friends and then we were just sort of a couple. I remember saying to him that neither of us knew when we went from friends to being together but we always remembered the first time we met so how could we celebrate an anniversary? We solved this by deciding that the day we met was more memorable so we would celebrate the day we met. Thus was born the metyouversary of Dave & Kim!
