Our Story
It all started in the most unexpected place — work. Kim was a caregiver before attending nursing school, and Christian worked as a server in the kitchen at a retirement facility during the pandemic. However, they somehow found time to become friends.
One day after work, they were talking in the parking lot until Christian noticed a parking permit on the windshield. Kim told him it was from a trip to the Crystal Cove hiking trail with her mom.
Without missing a beat, he said, “We should go there.”
She laughed and said, “Like... together?”
He smiled and said, “Yeah.”
And just like that, they had their first “official” adventure.
From that day on, they became partners in crime — and travel. They started making a bucket list of places they wanted to explore together.
After the first few dates, everything clicked for them. It felt easy, natural, and full of laughter. What started as a simple “we should go there” turned into the most beautiful adventure — and it’s only just beginning.
