We met each other the night of Wissahickon's Homecoming football game. The night leading up to us meeting went like any other night, I was getting ready at our mutual friend's house and she mentioned that we were going to meet at her friend Carmine's house. I responded with, "Who is she?" to which she laughed and clarified that Carmine was, in fact, a boy. The night went on with us chatting here and there and him offering me his sweatshirt so I wasn't cold, but I tried to play it cool and declined his gesture. Two weeks go by and I walked into the pizzeria he worked at and saw him. Little did we know we were both messaging our friend about one another saying how cute we thought the other was. She told me to text him first, which I did, and the rest has been history.
As you may know, we have had to postpone the trip to Jamaica again for everyone's safety. However, we have decided to still tie the knot on October 2nd as planned with just a change of scenery! We will be celebrating with a mass, following an intimate reception with family at our new home. While our special day didn't go as planned, we are thrilled to be able to still celebrate on the same day with those we love. Please be sure to bring your mask and enjoy the day with us while socially distancing! The trip has been postponed to May 22nd, 2021 to ensure everyone'e health and safety. Please be sure to reach out to Sharon Fein from Destination Weddings for updates to your room accommodations. Love, Kimmie and Carmine
