We're getting married!

Brantley and Kim met in an auditorium-style Statistics classroom at UNC Charlotte. Brantley maintains that he saw Kim from across the room on the first day, and by the second day he was sitting right behind her. Like any romantic 19 year-old boy with unmatched game would do, Brantley wooed Kim by throwing gum wrappers at her head and making snarky comments when she answered questions in class-- which might be why they had to have frequent study dates in the library. But those gum wrappers had shockingly beautiful doodles on the inside of them, and anybody who knows Kim knows that sarcasm and snarky quips are the way to her heart. Brantley always says that their first date was at the campus Bojangles before class, where they had their first real, in-depth conversation. Kim will always say that their first date was when he took her to see the Harry Potter prequel movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It seems like Kim wins the debate though, because one month after the movie, Brantley sent her a dozen roses to her house while on winter break with a note that said "Happy 1 month anniversary". Kim and Brantley have been together for nine years. Through graduating together in 2020, moving to Raleigh, renting three different apartments, purchasing a house together, and raising their furry hairballs Chui and Rosie, they have focused on building their beautiful life together and cannot wait to FINALLY tie the knot!
