Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is summer formal. If you choose to wear heels, consider wearing block heels or wedges, as the wedding ceremony will take place on grass.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We expect very warm weather in Ashton in November, which may become a bit chilly in the evening. You are welcome to bring along hats and sunglasses for during the day and something warm for the evening.

What time should I arrive?

Kindly arrive by 3:30pm, for the ceremony to begin at 4pm.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking is available on the premises. However, parking is limited, so please consider car-pooling with your friends/family or making use of the shuttle service.

Will there be transport to and from the venue?

Answer

Since Uber is not available in Ashton, a shuttle service has been arranged to take guests from Robertson (and possibly Klaasvoogds and Montagu) to the venue and back. Please contact Kimberly (071 493 0130) or Aidan (072 530 7266) if you would like to make use of the shuttle service.

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Limited accommodation is available in Ashton. The nearest towns include Klaasvoogds, Robertson and Montagu, which have a variety of accommodation options available.

What food will be available?

Answer

Charcuterie and cheese boards will be served during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet-style dinner, and a dessert table. Please indicate any dietary requirements when completing the RSVP form.

What drinks will be available?

Answer

Cooldrinks and water will be available throughout the event. Kleinhoekkloof wine, as well as bubbles, will be provided on each table. Thereafter, additional Kleinhoekkloof wines will be available for purchase, and a cash bar will be organised for other alcoholic beverages (e.g. beer, gin, whiskey, cider). Limited brands will be available for purchase, so if there is something specific that you would like, you are welcome to bring it along.
