Maid of Honor
Always my cousin, forever my friend- more like my sister. Growing up with two older brothers was tough, but Katie has always been the sister I wanted and needed. We've only grown closer as we've gotten older. I knew she'd be my maid of honor before Peter and I were even engaged.
Best Man
Willy and I met in 7th grade English class when I was seated in his group. He helped me figure out school, convinced me to try my first lobster, worked by my side landscaping, and is equally willing to talk Bills and politics. The kind of guy who surprises you with your favorite meal on your birthday (4 hours away from his home), I'm honored to have Willy as my best man.
Bridesmaid
A fellow chemistry nerd- Ali was a first year grad student at Oswego when I was in senior in the undergraduate program and we became fast friends. Ali was one of the first to know when Peter and I started seeing one another at the end of the fall semester in 2016 and quickly welcomed him into our growing friend group.
Groomsman
Ryan and I became fast friends while rowing, skiing, and doing stage crew together in high school. He and I always managed to have a great time, whether it was running around in the cold at Nordic practice, having cookouts after regattas, or talking US politics with Canadian restaurant owners in Kingston. A true and loyal friend, Ryan is one of those people with whom it doesn't matter how long it's been, you always pick up right where you left off. I'm so grateful to have Ryan stand up with me on this big day.
Bridesmaid
Yet another fast friend from my time at Oswego- I met Sof and we immediately hit it off (my gosh that sounds like we're dating). She made my final year at Oswego an absolute blast from nights out, inside jokes off music videos to attending Zumba together weekly. Sof is a true friend and I am so lucky to have her standing by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
David is a cousin who I have known all my life. His profundity and clarity of thought have always amazed me; I feel like I learn something unexpected and valuable every time I talk to him. I admire his drive, work ethic, kindness, and ability to keep a clear perspective on life. David is the kind of person who connects deeply and cares effortlessly, and I am proud to have him by my side as a groomsman.
Junior Bridesmaid
My sweet sweet niece, Natalia is a fun and giggly girl who I love so much. She is the one who made me an Aunt for the first time and how lucky I am! It was an incredibly easy decision for me to hand her the special roll of being my Junior Bridesmaid!
Junior Groomsman
Liam is the eldest son of my Uncle David and Aunt Julie. A kind and energetic boy, it has been so much fun seeing him grow up! I especially enjoy playing sports and Nintendo with him, watching him play soccer, and playing games with him. I am honored to have Liam as my junior groomsman on this big day!
Flower Girl
Oh boy- where to start? This child... she's crazy, fun loving, and will do just about anything to make you laugh. Emilia was the one who started calling me Yaya after having spent many hours with me while I was job searching after college. She'll repeat just about anything I say to her (good or bad) and will say it with a smile. I am so happy she's our Flower Girl!
Ring Bearer
My cousin Dylan is the youngest son of my Uncle David and Aunt Julie. He is a smart, funny boy with a strong affinity for cream cheese. When I lived in Washington D.C. I really enjoyed taking him to the National zoo, playing with him in the backyard, and reading him stories at bedtime. We are so happy to have him as our ring bearer!
