Bethy is Kimmy’s sister, but that simply stated fact does not do it justice. Bethy and Kimmy are as close as two people can be, yet are complete opposites, and they come as a package deal in most situations…thank goodness Gerald (and Brad) learned this early on!

Best Man
Gerald and Patrick met at Nelligan Hall freshmen year at Le Moyne College 19 years (and two full heads of hair) ago. A simple conversation one night during the first week sparked a 2 decade long friendship that includes nearly 6 years as roommates. A similar outlook on the world and eerily similar senses of humor has kept this friendship strong and thriving all these years (and a lot of golf).

You’ll hear everyone call her by her maiden name, Lakis, since that’s how Kimmy has referred to her since they met on the middle school field hockey team. Lakis and Kimmy’s friendship grew in high school chemistry class when they’d text each other about what food they wanted to eat since this was the last class before lunch. They played field hockey together through high school, then attended the University of Rochester together and were suite mates for 2 years!
Kevin Murray
Best Man
While the heights may have flipped over the years the one constant is Gerald and Kevin have always been brothers. While Gerald is older in years, Kevin has always surpassed Gerald in patience and wisdom. Kevin has graciously accepted the role of Co-Best Man despite Gerald ruining all of his cute moments in family home videos and being a ball of energy at all times when all Kevin wanted was some peace and quiet.
Keeley Murray

Keeley and Kimmy bonded in the high school halls during lunch periods and created long lasting memories on and off the high school field hockey field. Keeley is the most trustworthy person you will meet, even Kimmy and Gerald’s dog Bock knows this as she is the only dog sitter he trusts!
Kenny Margrey
Groomsman
Gerald and Kenny met back and Le Moyne College and with Patrick became fast friends. From epic parties Junior Year at Kenny’s off campus house, to Senior Year as roommates and beyond. Long after the years of Kenapaloozas ended (you just needed to be there to understand), Gerald and Kenny are currently trauma bonded by discussing the Sabres and Bills news of the day.
Janie Kleinberg

Janie and Kimmy met when they started middle school field hockey. Their friendship quickly grew in 8th grade as they had a majority of classes together. Janie also played high school field hockey with Kimmy, Lakis, and Keeley.
Dylan Youngs
Groomsman
Dylan and Gerald grew up down the street from each other and had several classes together in high school. While the seeds to the friendship would be planted there, they wouldn’t fully bloom until after college when Dylan moved to Albany where Gerald was living. After a reconnection and a few hangouts later, Gerald and Dylan were inseparable with a lifelong friendship ahead.
Amy Peralta

Amy spent almost every Friday after school at the Richards house in 6th grade. The shenanigans continued throughout middle school, into high school, and then college and beyond. Kimmy, Bethy, and Amy spent many late nights chatting for hours in the car in Amy’s driveway. 17 years of friendship later, the never-ending chats still continue!
Michael Ward

Michael is Patrick’s younger brother and Gerald has known Michael since freshmen year at Le Moyne where Michael would eventually attend with Pat, Gerald and Kenny. Not being able to get enough of rooming with a member of the Ward Family, Gerald and Michael were roommates for 3 years (including during the Covid lockdowns!) Not even being together 24/7 for 4 months could shake this friendship!

Katie is Kimmy’s cousin who keeps it real but is always down for a good time. She’s the cousin who’ll give you honest advice and then have you laughing five seconds later. I’m so grateful to have her by my side for our special day!
Brad Hasenauer

Brad and Gerald are not only soon to be Brothers in Law (Brad is Maid of Honor Bethy’s fiance), but brothers by necessity! With Kimmy and Bethy being so close, Gerald and Brad knew they’d be spending a lifetime together. So together they became bonded by love of sports, going golfing and sharing a birthday week. And after 4 years of friendship, Gerald and Brad are now brothers by choice!

Rachael is Kimmy’s cousin who, like Kimmy, enjoys a sweet treat after dinner. If you’re out to dinner with Rachael and Kimmy, you can pretty much guarantee they will be splitting a dessert!
Jack Richards

Jack is Kimmy's (and Bethy's) younger brother and is the life of any party you throw him in, so it was only natural that Gerald and Kimmy had Jack say some words at the ceremony and really set a positive vibe for the wedding weekend. Jack has welcomed Gerald with open arms since day one and Gerald is grateful to have him by his side on his big day (despite the fact Jack is a Miami Dolphins fan).

Currey is Kimmy’s cousin. She’s a girls’ girl and was front and center at Kimmy and Gerald’s engagement to capture the special memory, and she certainly will be doing the same throughout the rest of wedding festivities!
