Dawsonville, Dahlonega, and Helen are adorable small towns. Between these scenic towns are numerous wineries worth visiting in your downtime.
Dahlonega Square

Dahlonega Square has been featured in many Hallmark Christmas movies. It'll be decorated for the holiday season in November. I HIGHLY suggest at least driving through if not walking around downtown Dahlonega while in town for our wedding.
Wineries & Vineyards
My favorite wineries are Kaya, Wolf Mountain, and Cavendar Creek. There is a Wine Trail mapped out on the website. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.
Dowtown Helen
Helen, GA 30545
Helen is a picturesque German town nestled in the North Georgia Mountains. Staying in a cabin is suggested for visiting Helen.
Hiking Spots
Dahlonega has incredible waterfalls. I suggest Amicalola Falls! Sawnee Mountain is a nice loop with a gorgeous view at the top of the mountain.
