It all started quite casually, just two people meeting through friends on McDonald's Carpark while out for a drive. Even though there was an instant connection, it took us a couple of years (and probably a bit of stubbornness!) to finally take that next step. But when we did, we both just knew, this was it. Since then, life together has been exactly what we hoped for: full of laughter, easy moments, and a shared love for both cosy nights in and getting out to make memories. Whether we’re out doing something fun or just relaxing at home, we’ve always been happiest simply being together. Six years later, our story got even better. On our anniversary, I came home from work to find the living room completely decorated and our dog stealing the spotlight in a bandana that read, “Will you marry my Daddy”. Safe to say, it was impossible to say no (not that I needed much convincing!). And because we clearly love a meaningful date, we’ll be saying “I do” on that very same anniversary two years later. Who knew that one simple day out driving would lead us here?
