We’re getting married!

After initially meeting in college, Kimberley and Franchot reconnected in 2017. They spent most of their summer setting off fireworks in the parking lot of her apartment complex, skipping rocks at Mountain Run Lake, and going on dates. As time went on, Franchot told Kimberley that he'd ask her to “officially” become his girlfriend if she did two things: 1: Learn how to play chess 2: Play him and take two of his chess pieces Yikes, right? Kimberley had never played chess a day in her life, but he inspired her to learn something new. She never thought she’d learn how to play. Even if she did, taking one, let alone two pieces from someone who’d been playing chess since childhood seemed impossible. But, on the magical evening of September 5, 2017, Kimberley did just that! And the rest is history…
