FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please feel free to reach out to Kim at 845-663-4324.
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please, under no circumstances, have your cell phones out during the ceremony. We ask that no pictures or videos be taken as we have hired amazing wedding photographers to capture it all, allowing you to be fully present with us and our families! We will share all images of the ceremony so you will have access to all the photos after the wedding! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you please! Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Whats the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception is an indoor & outdoor event.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony ends we would love everyone to join the bride and groom on the bluestone patio for cocktail hour. There will be appetizers, drinks & yard games. At this time the bride and groom will ask their families to take photos before the photographer wraps up for the day.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is parking up by the pavilions in the property. If that parting lot is filled there is also an additional parking lot for guests to park in on the right hand side before you pull into the lodge area.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #gettinquigleywithit so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”
