Question

Where is the ceremony/reception located?

Answer

Please go to the RSVP page and type in your name. Once you type in your name, select yourself, then the page will direct you to the address of the venue as well as what time the ceremony starts.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless specifically addressed on the RSVP, kids are not welcome to the wedding/reception.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Can I take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged". This means NO Phones/Devices. We ask that all of our guests follow this. Our hired professionals will be taking photos/video during our entire ceremony and we would like to avoid any phones/devices in the background of these photos. You will have plenty of opportunities to take photos/videos during our reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Please refer to the Travel tab for any Hotel information. Brady Hotel is our main hotel that we have reserved rooms for. *Please keep in mind, Hermann MO has an Oktoberfest every year and hotels/Airbnbs in the area book pretty quickly. I recommend reserving your room/Airbnb in advance to ensure a place to stay nearby.*

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the ceremony/reception site. It is a very hilly location. If you need assistance from your parking spot to the ceremony site, please let the bride or groom know. There is a shuttle bus on property to help those who need assistance. The shuttle bus does not go off the wedding venue property.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride. This includes white, ivory, cream, and other shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting).

What do I do if I cannot attend?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not attending". Thank you!

When should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early before the start time of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time/to allow yourself time to park and walk to the ceremony site. We ask that if you are late, please refrain from entering the ceremony. Please hang tight in the cocktail area.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Again, please keep in mind, Hermann MO does an Oktoberfest every year around this time. So please allow yourself time to arrive to the wedding venue on time. Additionally, Hotels and Airbnbs will book up quick. Please book in advance if you plan on staying nearby.

Are there designated smoking sections?

Answer

Yes. Hermann Hill Vineyard & Inn, the Hermann Hill Village and the Hermann Hill Chapel are smoke-free establishments. They have two outside areas for guest smoking but prohibit smoking or vaping inside the venue. Please use ashtrays to dispose of cigarette butts properly. Please note, Marijuana in any form including edibles is prohibited from the venue.

When will the reception start?

Answer

The reception will follow shortly after the ceremony. We will have a cocktail hour in-between the ceremony and reception for our guest.
