This is a moderate day hike into the very heart of the Tetons. It is 8 miles round trip (4 miles one way) with almost 3,000 feet of elevation gain. Aka you're going uphill the entire time one way, and downhill the entire time coming back. But man is it beautiful and worth the trek.

formal attire for warm weather
The ceremony is taking place up the Wet Fork of Henderson Canyon, on national forest property. Please park in the parking area right after the cattle guard. Ushers will be present to help direct parking and point you toward the ceremony. Please Note: The ceremony site is a half mile walk down a very dusty dirt road. It is a flat and very easy walk, but we don't recommend wearing shoes you're too concerned about. We will have a side-by-side to shuttle guests who would prefer not to walk. DUE TO THE LOGISTICS OF THE AREA AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO WALK TO THE SITE, PLEASE ARRIVE AND PARK A HALF HOUR BEFORE THE CEREMONY IS SET TO START. Otherwise you might end up in the middle of the processional and you'll give us all a good chuckle. (There is no way to sneak in the back). Also note, because the ceremony is taking place on public land, we do not have exclusive use of the space. Horses, dirt bikers, mountain bikers, and hikers all have entitled access.
