This event is summer party fun. We will be dressing festive with comfort in mind.
There will be lite bites with special cocktail options, wine, bubbly water, and soda. The coast can cool down in the afternoons. Be sure to bring layers for warmth after sunset. Comfortable shoes are a must for dancing into the night!
Solstice Ritual and Wedding Vows
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We'll gather in the meadow to honor the Summer Solstice and celebrate the union of Kimberley & Ari.
We will walk over a bridge from the community center back patio to gather in the meadow for our ritual. You will want sturdy shoes. The terrain is flat but the meadow is not level. Feel free to bring tennis shoes if needed. If you need a support escort, we have plenty of folks at the ready to ensure stability and safety. We will have some chairs available as well.
Connection & Fun

Once we stroll back to the community center, we'll enjoy a few toasts and some party fun while the caterers prepare our meal. Mingle, enjoy, and hear the stories of many decades of living.

Our catered buffet style dinner is focused on BBQ. We'll have chicken, brisket, and short ribs. Don't worry if you are a vegetarian. We will send you to the buffet first where you will find green salad, quinoa black bean salad, and a charcuterie. We'll also have coleslaw, potato salad, and corn bread.
Dessert, music, dancing and celebration!

Beach Hang Out Day

This event is free form and intended as a gathering place for some beach fun.
Whether the day is sunny or overcast, the beach is known for comfortable weather in June (and the sunsets are gorgeous). The 3-mile stretch of beach is wonderful for walking, collecting rocks, and people watching. Swimming is optional and cold plunges will be celebrated. We will set up our large shade tent just south of the main entrance and bathrooms. Look for our bright fuscia and flower sarong hanging as a flag off the tent. Please plan to bring your own beach supplies: towels, tents, chairs, snacks, drinks (ice chests), etc... It's great to have a shade structure too but we can share (or bring your beach hat). We can bring extra snacks from the party. There are several food options walking distance from the beach with everything from ice cream to pizza, to healthy salads, and pastries. See you there!
