FAQs

Question

are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Unless your kids are listed on your invitation, leave them with a trusted loved one!

Question

can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, just bring you :)

Question

what should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

when is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1st, 2024 under the RSVP tab!

Question

what's the parking situation?

Answer

There are parking lots around the building and plenty of street parking. Please see the map under the PARKING tab for directions to the parking lots.

Question

will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremonies and reception will be located indoors and in the same building! Please check the schedule tab for details on each event.

Question

will food and drinks be served?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, there will be appetizers available for guests and a full service cash bar during cocktail hour. During the reception, there will be dinner stations and an open bar for guests. Come hungry and thirsty!

Question

where are you registered?

Answer

Because it is customary for wedding gifts to be monetary with Vietnamese weddings, we are asking guests who'd like to send us a gift to contribute to our newlywed and honeymoon fund! However, we will still provide a small registry for those who do not feel comfortable contributing cash. Please check the registry tab for guidance.

Question

what's the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. This goes without saying but please do not wear white/ivory/off white/cream/champagne colored dresses. Thank you!

Question

how should we refer to the married couple?

Answer

Just refer to us as you always do: Tim and Kim. No need to go by titles or surnames since we will be keeping our individual last names.
