Sandia Peak Tramway
Take a ride up to the Sandia Peak and get a panoramic view of the city. There's also a nice restaurant that serves cocktails and food at the crest.
Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm
A gorgeous Lavender and produce farm, inn, spa, restaurant, bar, and shop in the heart of the Rio Grande Bosque. We'd argue it's one of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at!
Casa Rondeña Winery
A beautiful vineyard and wine tasting room in the heart of Albuquerque, surrounded by the Rio Grande Bosque.
El Pinto Restaurant
El Pinto is one of Albuquerque's most famous restaurants. It's been visited by some of America's biggest celebrities whenever they come through Albuquerque (with pictures on the walls to prove it!). They feature a wide selection of New Mexican Food and have an enormous tequila and mezcal selection.
Casa de Benavidez
Great spot for breakfast in Albuquerque, especially breakfast burritos.
Old Town
Historic Old Town has been the heart of Albuquerque since the city was founded here in 1706. Today, Old Town is the city's cultural center, with numerous museums and more than 100 shops, galleries and restaurants. Located just around the corner from Hotel Albuquerque.
St. James Tearoom
A tea house that does a traditional 'tea time' that serves 3-4 types of tea plus a lot of very tasty and filling foods. It's a very fun and delicious experience.
Sawmill Market
The market houses 27 local merchants including a brewpub, a cocktail and wine bar, and a mercantile. At the center is an outdoor dining and hang out space. Great place to satisfy multiple food cravings at one time.
Green Jeans Farmery
Albuquerque's original shipping container marketplace, Green Jeans Food Hall has something for everyone, featuring the Santa Fe Brewing Co. Taproom and nine other local merchants. We recommend Amore, Rustic on the Green, or Fusion Tacos plus a beer at the brewery.
Town & Ranch
An extension of Los Poblanos Farm, Town & Ranch is their curated cocktail experience featuring their homemade Lavender Gin and traditional gin.
Tin Can Alley ABQ
Similar to Green Jeans Farmery, it is a shipping container food hall and craft beer taproom.
Hotel Chaco
Located directly next door to Hotel Albuquerque, and they feature a rooftop bar and restaurant with panoramic views of the city and the Sandia Mountains.
Electric Playhouse
A family-friendly amusement facility that offers everything from immersive gaming, dining, art experiences, food and drinks, specialty drinks and bar space.
The Range Café
Several throughout the city. This is one of my (Taylor) personal favorite places because of the Chile Rellenos, preferably smothered in Red & Green Chile. The enchiladas are also exceptional.
Flying Star Cafe
Great spot for breakfast with a New Mexican touch. Great coffee, great vibes, and great desserts and baked good.
Cutbow Coffee
The man who owns this coffee shop used to be the Head Roaster for Peet's Coffee. Now he has his own little shop in Albuquerque and you can feel the personal effort he puts into every cup. If you get the coffee flight, make sure you are with 3-4 other people because it's about 4 cups of coffee total!
Oni
Incredible ramen spot. They have some classics, as well as some New Mexican flourishes on their specialty bowls.
El Paisa Taqueria
OG Mexican style tacos, burritos, and tortas. Cash only.
Bandelier National Monument Visitor Center (Santa Fe Area)
About 2 hours drive from ABQ, Bandelier National Monument protects over 33,000 acres of rugged but beautiful canyon and mesa country as well as evidence of a human presence here going back over 11,000 years. Petroglyphs, dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs, and standing masonry walls pay tribute to the early days of a culture that still survives in the surrounding communities.
Ten Thousand Waves (Santa Fe)
A world-class Japanese inspired spa, bath house, and restaurant located in Santa Fe. It is absolutely worth the trip, and the restaurant on site is an incredible fusion of Japanese cooking and New Mexican ingredients. Spa treatments book out months in advance, so make sure to be proactive on this one if you plan to spend time in Santa Fe.
Meow Wolf (Santa Fe)
Meow Wolf creates large-scale interactive and immersive art installations. House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a 20,000-square-foot, which includes a concert venue in addition to the main immersive art installation. Think about it like a real life Alice in Wonderland type experience.
Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa (Taos)
A world-class Spa and resort near Santa Fe. A perfect place to spend a half or whole day getting some of the best spa treatments you can think of. They also offer personal, secluded pools to relax in, as well as incredible views of the surrounding area.
