Parker's Resort is approximately 2-2.5 hours from SFO and OAK airports (and it could be more depending on traffic.) Another option would be to fly into the much smaller Santa Rosa (STS) airport, which is just 30 minutes from the venue, although you'll probably have to pay a bit more if you go that route. Rush hour traffic on Friday late afternoon/early evening can be quite challenging in the SF Bay Area, so we suggest booking flights that arrive as early as possible that day.
We have the entire campground from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, and will be having a community dinner/welcome bonfire on Friday night for those who would like to make a weekend of it! Other than that, the wedding is scheduled for 5 pm on Saturday so please be there by then at the very latest...and if you are planning on camping on site, please arrive by 2:30 pm on Saturday so you have time to get set up and settled before the ceremony begins. Kim and Sven are also planning on staying at the venue until Monday early afternoon and encourage you to stay an extra night as well if possible, though you will need to cover the campground's regular fees on Sunday night if you want to camp.
Tent and/or RV camping is available for free at the venue on Friday and Saturday nights. We also have a block of rooms at the Creekside Inn, which is right next door to the venue for out of town guests who won't have camping supplies with them, and there are other options on the travel page on this website as well.
There will be a question on the online RSVP form that asks if you are planning on camping on site...and if you will be in a tent or bringing an RV, if so.
We were unable to include everyone's kids on our invite list due to space limitations, but if your kid(s) not coming means that you can't come...we will do our best to create space for your kid(s). Please email Kim at kimskips@gmail.com if this applies to you.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Bright, colorful, festive, and fun attire is strongly encouraged! Anything goes...though, Ladies, leave the heels at home, since the ceremony will be in the redwoods and there is a lot of uneven terrain.
Right here on Zola! Please see the link in the menu above.
