Kim saw Sean's online dating profile in late August and knew she had to meet this handsome guy! So she sent a very simple message... Good morning, Sean :) Sean was out doing a bit of shopping when he received an alert on his phone. He had to satisfy his curiosity and check out Kim's profile. He was immediately taken by her warm and inviting smile. Sean knew that he wanted to meet this beautiful lady. They made plans about a week later to meet in Lockport at Dellwood Park, go for a walk, and get to know each other a little better. They had a delicious dinner after taking in the sights around the I&M Canal waterfront. They had so much fun spending time with each other and continue to this day.

In early August, Sean finally got up the nerve to do a little shopping and chose the most beautiful ring for Kim. He thought that it was just nerves causing a burning sensation in his chest ever since leaving the jewelry store that day, but it turned out to be a gall-bladder attack! Kim never left his side for the next five days while Sean was admitted first to the emergency room and then to Edward-Elmhurst Hospital to have the gall-bladder removed. It was then and there that Sean became certain of what he knew all along. Kim was absolutely the only woman for him! While waiting to be discharged, Sean received the call from the jeweler that the ring he chose for Kim was finally ready to be picked up! When they returned home and the pain of the surgery subsided, so did any trace of Sean's nervousness. He just couldn't wait any longer and proposed to Kim in the early morning while she was still in bed. Knees were taken, and the rest is history! :)
