FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kimberly Jeffrey and Rakai Heka-Beazley
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by 1 November so we can confirm our final guest list. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know early so we can share the space with others. Before replying yes, be as sure as possible that you’ll be able to join us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we’d love to include everyone, numbers are limited and all seats have been allocated. Only guests named on your invitation can attend. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore all our little ones, but to help the day run smoothly, only children named on the invitations are invited. If you have a baby who doesn’t need their own seat, you’re welcome to decide whether to bring them along. For those whose children are invited, they’re more than welcome. That said, we highly recommend considering alternative care if your tamariki aren’t able to look after themselves during the evening. We’d love for you, as parents, to be able to relax and enjoy the night. Please also note the venue is remote, with mood lighting, open spaces and areas near a cliff edge, so we kindly ask parents to keep a close eye at all times.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie — formal and suited for an outdoor celebration. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, before we move into a marquee with hard flooring for the evening celebrations.

Question

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

All guests will travel to Baylys Farm together by shuttle. There will be three pick up points: 1) Paihia Maritime Building (Paihia Wharf) 2) Davis Crescent (Te Ti Bay) 3) Copthorne Hotel (Waitangi). Shuttles will begin pick up at 2.00pm, please be at your chosen pick up point by 1.50pm, all shuttles will depart on time and will arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony starts at 3.00pm. After the celebrations, shuttles will return guests to the same three locations. For māmā to be, our elderly guests or anyone needing extra assistance, please see the next question so we can make special arrangements.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Baylys Farm is an operating farm, so no parking will be available on the day. All guests will travel by shuttle to and from the venue, with return trips at 11.00pm back to the same three pick up locations: 1) Copthorne Hotel (Waitangi) 2) Davis Crescent (Te Ti Bay) 3) Paihia Maritime Building (Paihia Wharf) If you’re expecting, have mobility needs or are bringing an elderly guest, please let us know so we can arrange closer access and an earlier departure if needed.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be at your pick up point by 1.50pm so the shuttles can leave on time. This will have everyone arriving at Baylys Farm 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 3.00pm.

Question

Can I perform on the day?

Answer

We’d love to include special performances, please let us know ahead of time if you’d like to contribute. This way we can coordinate with our DJ and make sure the right audio setup is ready for you.

Question

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough for us! If you would like to give something further, a monetary koha would be warmly received and deeply appreciated.
