Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie. Ladies should wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses. Gentlemen should wear a tuxe or a formal suit.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Washington National Cathedral, 3101 Wisconsin Avenue NW Washington, DC 20016

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. We encourage our guests to take the opportunity to capture photos outside of the Cathedral before the ceremony!

Where can I park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking on the Cathedral grounds and in the surrounding neighborhood. The underground parking garage is a flat rate of $9. The garage parking entrance is located via Wisconsin Avenue, at the traffic signal just south of Woodley Road. We also suggest taking a taxi or rideshare if you plan on enjoying any alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Those explicitly invited with a formal invitation may attend. Please be sure to RSVP!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” by July 1st so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

To make sure we can get the party started as scheduled, we recommend that you arrive no later than 3:30pm and seated for the ceremony by 3:45pm. Doors will be closed by 3:45pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1, 2022. You can RSVP online on our wedding website. Look for "RSVP" in the navigation menu or from your Greenvelope email invitation.
