We love kids! That being said, if you are bringing your kids along, please understand that alcohol will be served., and this is a historic venue. We respectfully request that you find a babysitter if possible, but we realize that you may not be able to.
If you received an invitation that included a plus 1, yes you can! if not, please ask either Larry or Kim before bringing them as we are needing a head count for catering and will need to make sure we have the space.
Yes! We will be having a buffet style dinner, catered by Hy-Vee. If you have any dietary restrictions, please message or call one of us and let us know so we can let the caterer know!
Yes! We will be having a modified open bar. Unlimited beer (including some local brews!), wine, and mixed well drinks. We will not be providing shots, or any whiskey type drinks, but you are able to purchase them yourself. And of course, tea, soda, coffee, and water will be served.
The ceremony itself will be outside in the beautiful courtyard (fully shaded), but the reception will be held indoors. During the reception, we will have games and activities set up in the courtyard for guests to enjoy.
There is parking on the street around the venue, but it will be a Saturday, so there may not be many spots open. However, there are multiple parking garages in the area, and not that far to walk. The closest one seems to be the one next to the Jefferson Footbridge. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/574889efcf80a1dfc9f00d7b/t/5d557f692b215200011bb88d/1565884268058/CStreet_Map_2019.png
