We're getting married!

Kim's former roommate Liz told Kim that Kokoro fancied her. One day, at a mutual friend's birthday party, the two finally met and had so much fun together. Their first official date featured dinner at a Thai restaurant, followed by drinks at Tiki Ti, ending at the very well known burlesque bar Jumbo's Clown Room - in short it was a pretty epic night. A couple more dates, a first kiss on halloween (Kim dressed as Goose from Top Gun and Kokoro dressed as a Witch in a dress), a broken arm, a sponge bath, lots of laughs, many good conversations, and the rest is history.

On the morning of their three year First Kiss Anniversary, Koko (unfortunately a little under the weather) crept out of bed without waking Kim to go grab her favorite bagel and coffee and a dozen red roses. Kim woke up to the yummy smell and beautiful roses in shock saying, "we weren't supposed to get gifts for today!" And then Koko pulled out a ring and asked Kim to marry her saying, "will you love me forever?" Still a little sleepy eyed, confused and shocked Kim said, "are you proposing to me?!" and the two cried and embraced and of course Kim said, "YES!" Koko proceeded to fall extremely ill and slept most of the day while Kim took approximately 1,200 selfies and face timed friends and family to spread the good news. Koko did make it out of bed for a celebratory dinner at our favorite spot though!
