We met on an online dating site. We texted for a few weeks and we decided to meet up for dinner & drinks at a pub in Quakertown. We locked eyes pretty intensely when I got out of my jeep. We talked over food and drinks and as we were leaving for our cars it started to drizzle. We kissed goodbye, and as we did the clouds opened up and it was pouring down on us. The rain didn't stop the kisses, we stood in that rain kissing for what seemed like forever. Needless to say we both drove home in soaking wet clothes and sopping hair with big smiles on our faces. Jack romanced me for weeks, and showed me that chivalry was not dead and that great men really do still exist. 2 years later and he still brings me coffee in bed and kisses me on the forehead. We are amazing partners.
It was our family Thanksgiving celebration. We celebrated the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The jeweler had called Jack out of the blue that morning to let him know the ring was in. I had no idea. After he was secretly texting my family about the ring, a plan was called to action and Jack decided to run to the jeweler to get the ring and propose in front of my entire family. The Johnson's family tradition is to go around the table and say what we are grateful for. Jack proposed when it came down to his turn. <3
