Dressy casual – a nice outfit for services and light nosh, Beth Israel is a Reform synagogue, so attire can be a little more relaxed, but respectful. Think a nice dress, skirt and blouse, dress pants and a button-down.
9:00 am
Modest synagogue-appropriate attire. Shaarie Torah is a Conservative synagogue, and it’s respectful to cover your shoulders (bring a sweater or wear sleeves). Dresses, skirts, dress pants with a blouse, or a nice top with sleeves. Jackets and cardigans are helpful if you need an extra layer. No need for full formalwear — just polished, modest, and appropriate for a morning service.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Summer cocktail attire. Think garden party meets festive cocktail hour — dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, or suits in lighter fabrics.
