Maid of Honor
Kim & Erica met through their mutual friend, Amber, and when they both moved to Chicago in 2015, they became inseparable. From street festivals, crafting & wine nights, pop-up Timeflies concerts, and hooky days at the beach, they made a million unforgettable memories - solidified with matching tattoos to commemorate their time in Chi-town. Even now, living over 1,000 miles away, they still make each other laugh uncontrollably on a weekly basis.
Best Man
Carl was Erik's first friend after moving to Michigan in High School. They were on the Cross Country team together and instantly hit it off as friends. Ever since then, they have remained close to each other and make a point to ensure distance doesn't stop them from seeing each other at least once a year. Carl is a great source for music and movie recommendations, while also being good for a well timed and witty joke.
Bridesmaid
Kim & Amber grew up together in the small town of Lake Linden, MI. Being from a town of less than 1,000 people, they were constantly finding creative ways to pass the time, and they may or may not have found some trouble from time to time. After all these years, thanks to hours-long FaceTime conversations every few weeks, they remain as close as ever. They will forever be partners-in-crime.
Best Man
Erik and Diego became close friends in college while pledging in a business fraternity together. It didn't take long to go from close friends to roommates, to travel buddies. Diego and Erik may not have known what adventures they are about to get themselves into, but they always know it's going to create stories for life. Someday Erik hopes to get in enough shape to eventually go backpacking in the mountains with Diego....maybe.
Bridesmaid
Angela was Kim's boss when she moved to Chicago in 2015, and she took her under her wing to introduce her to an amazing crew of friends that felt like family in a new city. They are St. Patty's Day partners for life and currently both reside in the beautiful state of Colorado. Kim & Erik wouldn't know each other if it weren't for Angela and her husband, Alex, bringing them together. Erik and Kim are forever grateful for these amazing friends (and the many late euchre nights that come along with them)!
Groomsman
No one has had to deal with Erik longer than his older brother, Paul. Always a patient, thoughtful, and loving brother, Paul has been a big part of Erik's life and a role model while growing up. Every year as kids they went on vacations with their dad. Soon they will have to plan a trip to Alaska to make it all 50 states visited!
Officiant
Alex has been a huge part of Erik & Kim's life, since he introduced them to each other back in 2015. Not only was he the reason we met, but he has been a consistent friend to both of us over the years. There's not a problem in the world that his tasty dinners can't fix. The first thing we "knew" we wanted from our wedding was for Alex to be the one to marry us.
