What is the event Friday night?
Answer
Instead of the traditional rehearsal/groom's dinner, we want to hang out and have fun with everyone who's able to join us. We plan to have dinner and games. Weather permitting, we'll have a campfire and s'mores too! We will hold this either at Gooseberry Falls State Park, or the log house we have rented for the weekend.

Will the wedding be held outdoors or indoors?
Answer
It depends. We are planning on having an outdoor wedding, but weather on the North Shore in May is unpredictable. if the weather turns south we will hold the ceremony and reception in the Lakeside Shelter.

What should I wear?
Answer
Wear what's comfortable for you. Suits and ties are not required. You may wish to bring a jacket should it be cool. We recommend you watch the forecast for updated weather reports.

Is there a fee to enter Gooseberry Falls State Park?
Answer
Yes there is. The daily fee is $7.00, and we will cover this cost. If you already have a yearly State Park Pass, there is no additional fee to pay. If you plan to visit other Minnesota State Parks while in the area, we think a yearly permit is a great deal. Here's the breakdown of that cost: $35 Year-round vehicle permit $26 Additional year-round vehicle permit $30 Year-round motorcycle permit $7 One-day vehicle permit Minnesota residents with disabilities that have a Federal Access Pass or a Minnesota-issued disability license or hang tag can get a $12 year-round permit. Disabled veterans and active duty military personnel can get discounted or free vehicle permits.

Will there be food?

If you know Kim, then the answer is Yes! We wanted to do something a little different and have fun, so we hired a taco truck. There will be chicken fingers for those who aren't a fan of Mexican food. For dessert we'll have pie from Betty's Pies (Kim’s favorite) as well as cupcakes.

Should I bring anything?
Answer
Most importantly, bring yourself! You may want to bring a lawn chair for hanging out at the beach afterwards.
