Let's just say we met in a way we both never imagined! Online, haha! As I was busy focusing on work, my mom Jennifer had other plans. I wasn't putting focus on dating at the time and one day I get a phone call from her. She says, "Don't be mad! But I did something." I say, "Okayyyy, what did you do?!" Come to find out she took it upon herself to make me a profile online, as she knew I would never agree to it! I said, "No you didnt!" On the other hand, after relationships that hadn't worked out or been the right fit, Brian's friend and wife told him he needed to get out in the dating world and hop online. As resistant as he was for a while, he ended up hopping online to Match. Let's just say, that after three weeks of us both having an account, we both almost gave up. I decided a week after receiving a message from Brian that I should respond since he was the only mature sounding, kind man that I had a message from. After our first real conversation, hours went by and we realized how many things we actually had in common. On July 9, 2017, two days later, we had our first date at Pacifica in Del Mar, Ca. We were seated along the glass wall overlooking the ocean. It was an amazing night of dinner, drinks and continuous conversation. At one point we turned around to an empty restaurant and I asked our server what time they close. He said, 'We closed 30 minutes ago, but you two were enjoying yourself so much I didn't want to interrupt!" Long story short, the dang online thing worked out for the both of us!! Haha! Now together five years, we sold our home in California, bought some land in Tennessee and have built a beautiful home together! Living in 4 places within a year is a bit much, but we have always looked at the end goal and we can honestly say we made the best decision ever! Now it's time to seal the deal with an amazing wedding with our friends and family and live happily ever after with our Molly girl!
