Things To Do

This is just a few places that we enjoy in the metro area and front range of Colorado. If there is something specific that you may be into please just ask! There are about a dozen breweries and restaurants that we could recommend along with further destination sites such as Estes Park (where the historic Stanley Hotel is located), the hot springs in Glennwood Springs or the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
Coors Field

Coors Field

2001 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205

Leave it to us to have our anniversary land typically opening weekend for baseball. The Rockies are hosting the beloved Los Angeles Dodgers for the Coors Field Opening Weekend. Can't find tickets to the game? McGregor Square (walking distance to the stadium) is a great place to eat and watch the game. They have restaurants, bars, a grassy spot to sit and of course their 66' by 20' LED screen to watch the action. Also if you mysteriously cannot find Kim or I, we were gifted tickets to the game and will be here!

Denver Botanic Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens

1007 York Street, Denver, CO 80206

Love flowers and plants? This is your place! Absolutely beautiful place to walk around and tour! It is outside so make sure you dress accordingly.

Red Rocks

Red Rocks

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465

Easily one of the coolest venues we have been to. Access to the park is free, there are hiking trails around the park as well and make sure to tour their museum.

Chatauqua Park

Chatauqua Park

Boulder, CO 80302

Chatauqua Park known for its views of the famous Flat Irons. If this is something you want to check out, we suggest you go early as it is one of the busiest destinations for cool views in Boulder. Also check it out because nature is neat.

Stanley Marketplace

Stanley Marketplace

2501 Dallas Street, Aurora, CO 80010

This is a treat! Originally Stanley Aviation which opened in 1954 and manufactured airplanes and parts, the Stanley Marketplace was developed through the adaptive reuse of this historic building (I'm getting major kudo points from Kim right now). Love shopping? Love beer? Love wine? Love plants? Love eating? Then you have reached your one stop shop for all.
