Malibu Wine Safaris
Explore the 1,000 acre Saddlerock Ranch and Vineyard in Malbu onboard a custom-built open-air Safari vehicle. You'll make stops along the way to take in the scenery, taste local wines, and get up close & personal with animals you never knew were Angelinos too: zebras, water buffalo, alpacas, bison, and even Stanley the Giraffe. Reservations recommended (if not required). Not into animals? There's also the option to hit the Malibu Wines & Beer Garden Tasting Room instead.

Malibu Beaches
There is no shortage of sandy beaches in California, and within a 30 minute drive from the hotels is Malibu. Plan for a beach day at any of the neighboring favorites - Surfrider Beach, El Matador State Beach, or Zuma County Beach.
Golfing
Like beaches, there is no shortage of golf courses in the Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties. Westlake Village Inn has on-site the Westlake GC (tee times can be made online for 2 or more players up to one week in advance). Sandpiper GC (near Downtown Santa Barbara) offers terrific ocean and mountain views, while Rustic Canyon GC (in Moorpark) is considered one of the best valued courses, ranked 6th among public-access courses in California by Golfweek Magazine. Angeles National GC (in Sunland) is the only Nicklaus Design golf course in LA county, and Olivas Links (in Ventura) showcases views of the Ventura Harbor, Ventura hillside, and the Channel Islands.
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library
Learn about America’s 40th president at this beautiful 100-acre library and museum. Take a walk through lush gardens and explore permanent and temporary exhibits depicting American history before stepping into the real Airforce One aircraft that overlooks the hills and valleys of Southern California.
Santa Barbara
Tree-lined State Street in Downtown Santa Barbara has shops and eateries, along with museums, galleries, theaters, architectural landmarks, and nightlife. Admire the picturesque red-tile roofs, white-washed adobe buildings, and splashes of fuchsia bougainvillea as you meander through the many open-air paseos with their bubbling fountains and colorful tilework.
Ventura
Downtown Ventura is full of incredible boutiques, thrift stores, antique shops, restaurants, bars, and historical sites. Ventura is also home to a burgeoning craft beer scene, making it a true haven for beer drinkers.
