What is the weather like?

October in Upstate South Carolina is pretty awesome — the weather’s mild and comfortable, with daytime temps in the low to mid-70s and cooler evenings in the upper 40s to mid-50s. There’s usually plenty of sunshine and just the right amount of humidity, so it’s great for being outside and enjoying the beautiful fall colors. We’re really excited to celebrate with you in such a perfect, scenic season!

Can I take pictures?

Our ceremony will be unplugged to preserve its intimate and solemn atmosphere. We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. Please be mindful not to block the view of our professional photographers, who will be capturing every special moment. We promise to share the photos with you after the wedding. Once we are announced as husband and wife, you’re welcome to take as many pictures and videos as you’d like!

Are kids invited?

We’re happy to welcome your little ones to join in the celebration! It’ll be a family-friendly day full of fun for all ages. However, Please note, after 9 PM, the music playlist will include some songs with explicit content. We want everyone to have a great time, so please plan accordingly
