How we met Devon and Tyler met the modern way: on a dating app in 2020 during the height of the pandemic! Our first date was at Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden in Austin, TX. We quickly hit it off and made plans to see each other again. 23 dates later, some of which included touring a tiny home community, rock climbing, camping and a trip to a vineyard, and we were officially a couple. Favorite Memories A few of Devon and Tyler’s favorite memories together: relaxing at 10,000 Waves Spa in Santa Fe, visiting Puerto Rico, learning to surf in Puerto Vallarta, being digital nomads in Montreal, Ashville, and Washington DC, and our first apartment together in Chicago. The Proposal Devon believed Tyler was going to propose during their visit to the Chicago Botanic Garden for their 3rd anniversary, but left feeling disappointed when nothing happened. The following day, Devon thought she was having a fancy dinner with her friends at a French bistro (thank you Brittany and Kevin!). To commemorate the moment, Devon wanted to take photos at the park across the street from the restaurant, but her friends were not there. Tyler and two photographers were waiting to capture the moment at the Lily Pool. Needless to say, Devon said yes and they celebrated at the French bistro as planned.
