How We Met: We first met on the MegaBus heading back to Catholic University from Spring Break in March 2013.  We hit it off immediately (after Sean offered up his seat to sit next to Ashley)! We bonded over car games and reminisced about their times at CUA. For the next 6 months, Sean and Ashley, aka "bus buddies," crossed paths around campus but nothing more ever came of it. That was until Ashley reached out to Sean about an event he was hosting. Sean suggested they catch up but they didn't get to connect. Sean took a chance and asked Ashley to coffee and she agreed. They began to hangout more, eating lunch and dinner in the Pryz, meeting up for Mass at St. Vinny's, and watching movies as they got to know each other. Sean and Ashley soon went on their first official date at Matchbox in Chinatown. But this was just the beginning... The Proposal: In August of 2018, Sean and Ashley took a trip to Charleston, SC, Ashley's favorite place in the world where she vacationed with her family while growing up. Sean booked an AirBnB (little did Ashley know the hosts were in on it) near the beach. On their second day, he convinced Ashley that they should get dressed up for a romantic dinner in downtown Charleston. That evening before dinner, Sean suggested they go on a walk on the beach behind Fort Moultrie.  As they rounded some rocks jutting out from the dunes, Sean got down on one knee and proposed! Ashley, very surprised, froze and was completely speechless. After what felt like an eternity, she said yes! A surprise photograph captured the moment beautifully, and dinner had never tasted so good. One final surprise were roses and champagne in the room back at the AirBnB that the hosts setup. Rest assured, we took a 150 Myers Briggs style questionnaire (proctored by our parish priest) and we scored a 97%! We are pretty sure we are stuck together forever! We could not be more excited and cannot wait to begin our journey together and to celebrate with all of you!
