City Park
This is a beautiful park, and it has an art museum and botanical garden!
Fontainebleau State Park
Another one of our favorite state parks on the other side of lake Ponchatrain. It has a great beach too!
13th Gate Escape, Louisiana's Ultimate Escape Games
13th Gate has the most elaborate and fun escape rooms we've ever seen! Great activity for the middle of the day when it's too hot to be outside! (P.S. highly recommend doing cuthroat cavern or tomb of anubis)
The National WWII Museum
Christian likes this museum so much he went twice! Killian was bored but she doesn't like museums
Old State Capitol Museum
This is a beautiful old castle in downtown Baton Rouge, with great stained glass!
La Mexicana
We come here for date night every Tuesday. The pork Al Pastor tacos are amazing!
Canoe and Trail Adventures Rentals @ The Chimes location
This is a beautiful place to rent a canoe and explore the bayou
Port Hudson State Historic Site
The site of the longest siege in American history, the civil war battle site has been converted to a state park just outside Baton Rouge with lots of hiking trails and history exhibits
