What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal- cocktail dresses or long dresses, suit or tux if you wish but black tie is not necessary. Weather pending, the ceremony will be outside. The cocktail hour will be indoors/ outdoors, and the reception will be indoors with air conditioning.

What is the best way to get to Bear Brook Valley

Answer

Buses will be provided for guests staying at both (Residence Inn Marriott & Holiday Inn Budd Lake) both to and from Bear Brook Valley. They will arrive at the Marriott hotel (The Holiday Inn Budd Lake is directly next to the Residence Inn Marriot) promptly at 4:00pm and will leave no later than 4:15pm. The ceremony will be at 5:00pm sharp, so please be mindful to be on time if you plan on taking the bus. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Budd Lake please make your way to the Marriott to get on the bus. The shuttles home will leave at the conclusion of the reception and return to the Marriott/ Holiday Inn around 11:30pm. Bear Brook is in a remote area so it may be difficult to use ride share apps like Uber and Lyft from the property. Be mindful to plan ahead if you are trying to use these. If you are driving yourself, you can meet us directly at Bear Brook Valley for the ceremony. There is an entrance gate for the venue and there will be an attendant stationed to let you in. There will be valet parking upon your entry if you would like.

Is there an After Party?

We are not having a formal after party but have asked the hotel bar at the Holiday Inn to stay open for us upon our return!
