Brit and Greg got engaged while on vacation in the Azores, Portugal. Greg planned to propose after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The day got off to an inauspicious start as Brit accidentally came across the ring box, but luckily didn't recognize it for what it was and didn't open it. There is some debate among the couple as to Greg's demeanor the rest of the day: Brit says he was nervous, on edge, and strangely concerned with their appearance; Greg swears he was calm, collected, and confident without a care in the world. I guess we'll never know for sure! After a delicious dinner and a bottle of wine the happy couple made their way to a beach known for its stunning sunsets. As the sun sank and the sky turned pink and yellow, Greg set his phone up to take a picture of the two. In reality, he was shooting a video. After a few seconds he got down on one knee and, to the gasps of their fellow beach-goers, asked for Brit's hand in marriage. Her first words, "I knew it!" were soon followed by a heartfelt, "Yes." The beach erupted in applause as the couple kissed for the first time as fiancees.
