What do I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors in late August in Michigan - which means it could be warm and sunny, breezy, or anything in between. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and dressing comfortably for the weather. Tents will be set up in case of rain. The ceremony and reception will take place on grass, so please plan footwear accordingly. Thin heels may sink into the lawn, so wedges, block heels, or flats are encouraged.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! We love your families and kids are welcome to join us for the celebration. Please note that after about 8:00 PM, the playlist and party vibes will become a bit more grown-up. We completely understand that every family has different comfort levels, so we’ll leave that decision up to you.

Will there be seating at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a mix of sitting and standing areas for the ceremony. It will be short and sweet, so seating may be limited.
