Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by no later than August 1st, 2024. Earlier is always appreciated! You can RSVP directly on our wedding website by clicking the "RSVP" tab. There is a link to our website, along with a QR code located on the back of your invite. Please RSVP regardless of whether you will be able to attend or not attend our big day. Any RSVPs received after August 1st, will be marked as a “no” as we need a final head count. The guest amount will help us finalize details with our vendors!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM. So pretty PLEASE arrive early enough, AT LEAST 15-30 minutes prior, to park, find a seat, and socialize before the event. We want to ensure our scheduled plans run on time and smoothly. If any guests arrive at the start of the ceremony (2:00), you will not be able to be seated. We kindly ask that you do not enter the ceremony area and seat yourself. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal attire) for our wedding. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will both be located outside. No jeans or sneakers please. If you are looking for inspiration, the wedding is located in a beautiful, lush floral garden venue. We invite you to think “whimsical garden party.”

Question

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. Please also avoid the color Olive green, as this color has been specially chosen for the bridesmaids to wear. We thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, on a first come first serve basis. Space may be limited, so we suggest carpooling or walking to the venue, if possible. We hope that the parking will be able to accommodate all of our guests. If venue parking becomes full, there is street parking available nearby.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving an assortment of alcoholic beverages for our guests to enjoy. The bride and groom have also each selected a special signature cocktail to serve for guests. We will also have drinks available to our guests who are under age 21. The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! We are excited to celebrate. Please drink responsibly and arrange a plan beforehand to arrive home or to your hotel safely!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking photos around the venue for 45 minutes to an hour. Guests will exit the ceremony area, and head over to the cocktail arbor, where they can mingle, enjoy a cold beverage, a charcuterie spread, and sign our guest book! The reception will begin shortly after.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We LOVE your kiddos, but we hope you understand that our wedding will be kid-free, unless specifically stated otherwise on your invitation. We are hoping this is a much deserved night off for the parents! Please enjoy!

Question

Can I bring a date/ a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite with their formal name or "guest." If anything at all changes, we will notify guests asap! We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

YES!! Please RSVP "will attend" or "will not attend" by August 1st. Please RSVP regardless of whether you are able to attend our event or not attend. There will be an option for both. We hope to see you there!

Question

What if I cannot make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Will NOT attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not make it, please notify Kiley (Bride), (916) 813-8842, or Quentin (Groom), (916) 878-0633 by the RSVP deadline, August 1st.

Question

Ceremony expectations

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the entirety of the ceremony portion, unless you have been specifically asked to video or take pictures during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a person/person's phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. We want everyone to be present and in the moment with us! After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please refer to our "Travel" tab for detailed information.

Question

We want to gift the newlywed couple, do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! It is located under the "Registry" tab. With all we have, we've been truly blessed! If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our dream honeymoon, would really make our day. If however it is a gift you find, please be assured, we will not mind! Any amount will make us smile with thanks!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at one location; The Gardens at Sutter Creek, Sutter Creek CA. These events will be outdoors!

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving a taco bar, buffet style! This will include a choice of two meats, flour and corn tortillas, refried beans, Spanish rice, and a taco topping station with: lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, sour cream, cheese, salsa and limes. A delicious dessert station will also be present.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please! The first few rows will be reserved for close family. For the reception, guests will be provided with a table assignment.
