Things To Do

We know! We're the worst! We're those people that make you wait around for 3 hours between church and party, and we feel really bad about it. Fortunately there is tons to do near the hotel and even more in Fishtown, Philly's trendiest neighborhood. So make the most of your time in the city, and check out our favorite spots near Front & Palmer!

North Bowl

909 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123
, (215) 238-2695

Located a mile away from Front & Palmer. If you're looking for an activity you can do in your formal wear, sans shoes, check out North Bowl. There's a full bar and kitchen with great snacks. We love the loaded tots!

Evil Genius Beer Company

1727 North Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122
, (215) 425-6820

This brewery is directly across the street from Front & Palmer. Treat yourself to a flight in the tasting room or beer garden!

La Colombe Coffee Roasters

1335 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125
, (267) 479-1600

Church is long. If we sucked the life out you, be ready to party with Philly's famous coffee, La Colombe! The La Colombe Fishtown cafe is a super cool place to hang out and recharge your batteries. Tip -The draft latte is their specialty

Front Street Cafe

1253 North Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122
, (215) 515-3073

Step through the back door and into the garden, a delightful green space for a drink. Just steps from Front Street, but miles from everywhere else. Grab a small plate, made from the highest quality foods possible and organic ingredients but save room for dinner!

El Bar

1356 North Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122
, (215) 634-6430

Mark's pick. Super divey, christmas lights and a pool table. Great place to start or end your night. There is a patio out back with an abandoned bath tub. Just make sure you don't indulge in too many city-wides, and make it to the reception still standing

Frankford Hall

1210 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125
, (215) 634-3338

Big German-style beer garden with communal seating & food options to soak up the brews. We celebrated our engagement here! Jenga, ping pong tables, and fire pits.

Spruce Street Harbor Park

301 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 922-2386

Only steps away from the Hilton at Penns Landing, Spruce Street Harbor Park was praised as one of the best urban parks in America! The park offers hammocks, food trucks, a floating restaurant, beer gardens, and games! Perfect for a quick walk and great place to find a snack.

Cherry Street Pier

121 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 923-0818

Aside from the great views of the Delaware that you’ll get from Cherry Street Pier, a renovated shipping dock, there are a bunch of food vendors (like Little Baby’s Ice Cream and Hardena) and shipping containers made into pop-up art exhibits. Just a 3 minute walk from the Hilton Penns Landing
