Question

How should I get there?

Answer

Plane - Glacier International Airport Train - Amtrak Empire Builder to Whitefish, MT Car - Off Highway 93 (Use Google Maps.)

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have arranged room blocks at a number of hotels in Whitefish and Kalispell. Grouse Mountain Lodge has rooms blocked and will be the most convenient for guests, however The Pine Lodge and Aprés Whitefish are a short drive from Grouse Mountain. The two hotels in Kalispell are a 15-20 minute drive from the venue.

Question

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside in a grass field at Grouse Mountain Lodge.

Question

Where will the reception be?

Answer

The reception will be outside at Grouse Mountain Lodge in a large tented pavilion with a concrete floor.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at Grouse Mountain Lodge for all guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. Go to the RSVP page and type in your first and last name to see if your invitation includes a plus-one. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We plan to have a babysitter to watch the little ones during the ceremony and reception so you can relax and enjoy yourselves. Please let us know if you plan on needing a babysitter. Kids are welcome to join for Welcome Drinks and the Farewell Breakfast!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Drinks on Friday is summer cocktail attire. Fun dresses, rompers, etc. for ladies and nice jeans, golf shorts, or slacks and collared shirts (optional sport coat for the gentlemen.) Our wedding ceremony and reception are semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! It's going to be 90+ degrees though, so please feel free to leave the suit jacket at home if you'd like! Farewell breakfast on Sunday is casual. We want you to be comfortable as you get ready to head home - sweats, leggings, jeans, t-shirt.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing a neutral pink and groomsmen will be wearing black and white, but don't let that stop you from wearing our favorite colors! Kiley would prefer if ladies do not wear white. :)

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions when submitting your RSVP. We want you to be safe and comfortable.

Question

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We are excited to be Mr. and Mrs. Koenig!

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

YES! We will have a great DJ to dance the night away. Ladies - feel free to slip into a comfy change of shoes.
