Centrally located to the pre-wedding festivities and hotel block, Harbor East is home to great food at Harbor Tandoor, Cindy Lou's Fish House, Ouzo Bay, Loch Bar, Maximon, Charleston, Cinghiale, Azumi, the Ruxton, or many more. Grab a drink at Ouzo Beach, Order of the Ace, or Tagliata. Breakfast is best at Kneads or Ceremony Coffee Roasters, our fresh local bakeries, or indulge at Blue Moon Cafe. Harbor East is also a hotspot for shopping with Free People, Anthropologie, Abercrombie, Alo Yoga, and much more.
In walking distance to the hotel block, there is shopping and dining, as well as farmers markets on the square on Saturday mornings. Some of our favorite places for food are Barcocina, Choptank, Rec Pier Chop House, Thames St Oyster House, Sushi Bruce Ya, and Prima Dopo. Some good spots to grab a drink are Horse You Came In On Saloon, Admirals Cup, and Waterfront Hotel Bar. For coffee and breakfast, Daily Grind and Pitango.
Our home and most favorite part of the city:) Some our favorite things are eating at Lees Pint and Shell, Bayside Cantina, Samos, Dipasquales, or Mama's on the Half Shell. Or grabbing drinks at The Worthington or Claddaugh's Pub. Cafe Dear Leon is known for their rotating breakfast and coffee and always has a crowd but we typically frequent Good Boy Bagels.
If you're looking to walk around the city, there is a waterfront promenade that spans from Harbor East all the way to Canton and is a beautiful way to see the city. You'll also pass by several bars or restaurants on the water you'll want to stop in:)
You can't come to Baltimore without crabs and orange crushes. Although we'll be providing the opportunity at the wedding, if you'd like to experience picking a crab, this is the spot. You can also get a fresh-squeezed orange crush to go with it while sitting on the water.
Where all the sports action happens, this neighborhood is home to Camden Yards and M&T Bank. Nothing beats an orange crush from Pickles Pub or an O's game atmosphere at Section 771. There are good eats in Cross Street Market, Blue Agave, MaGerks, AJs on Hanover, Limonchello, Copper Shark, Riverside Taphouse, or Shoyou Sushi. So many good spots to grab a drink that we frequent often: Locals Only, Crossbar (with a speakeasy inside), Don't Know Tavern, and if you're feeling brave, One Star Country Club.
Fort McHenry is best known for its successful defense of the city during the famous Battle of Baltimore that inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Home to the Washington Monument (climb to the top for amazing views of the city), the Walters Art Museum, George Peabody Library to peruse six floors of more than 300,000 books. Take high tea at the Ivy Hotel (the only Relais & Châteaux hotel in Maryland). You can also visit the Basilica of the Assumption, the oldest cathedral in the United States. You'll find good eats at Magdalena, The Prime Rib, Sotto Sopra, Resturante Tio Pepe, and much more.
