We started our first job at Friendly's in 2014/2015, but didn't cross each other's path until October 2015. We still aren't sure to this day how we never worked a shift before that together, but as they say, everything happens for a reason. Sydney was a server and Chris was the ice cream person *Or as some would say a Scoopologist ;) * Working together allowed for our friendship to blossom over the year. In June 2016, we began dating and the rest is history.

If you were to ask us both where our favorite place to go is, we would say "Wildwood". Wildwood holds such a special place in our hearts as we both grew up there during the summer. Wildwood eventually became even more special as we began to vacation there together in 2017. In 2020, since not much was open, we had a sunset picnic on the beach. This turned into one of our favorite traditions to do while vacationing. Fast forward to our 2023 picnic...the best picnic of them all. We picked up our dinner and headed to the beach. As Sydney entered the beach, there was a surprise waiting. With the help of our amazing friends and family, "Marry Me?" letters along with a picnic was set up. This will forever be one of our favorite moments together. This brings us here today.
