Swoop

Swoop is an airline that flies from Hamilton or London, Ontario, to Halifax Airport. Both Mike and I have used this airline many times, and though everything beyond the actual flight does cost you extra $, it is extremely affordable and comfortable.

House Or Rental

AirBnb

Halifax has many great options for house rentals on Airbnb, especially on the peninsula. While the wedding will be close to the downtown waterfront, the north and south ends have beautiful options that are not too far away. The south end of the peninsula will be more traditional heritage homes and walk up apartment listings. These areas are close to universities and point pleasant park. The waterfront is in the middle of Halifax, where there will be more high rise and condo listings, with a more modern city feel. The north end has listings that range from ultra modern to homey lofts, most of which that sport a fun alternative vibe. We will not be blocking off hotel rooms for our guests at this time, as most individuals have expressed they will be renting rooms through Airbnb. Please reach out to the bride at (902) 414-2934 if you are interested in staying in a hotel instead, and we will look into pursuing a room block at a near by hotel.
