We met in Shanghai, where we both were training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You could say it was love at first choke. Between drills and sparring sessions, we went from practice partners to life partners — proving that a couple who rolls together stays together (as long as no one holds a grudge after getting tapped out). 😅 The turning point? During one sparring session, he accidentally threw her a little harder than planned — okay, let’s be honest, he made her fly. She landed with a solid thud, and he panicked, wide-eyed and apologetic. Naturally, she assumed he just needed to say sorry. Instead, he seized the moment to ask her out. It was a first date proposal disguised as a post-throw apology! And that’s when it hit her (literally) — he was into her. Now, we’re trading the BJJ mats for wedding vows, with more taps, more throws, more love and laughter, and a lifetime of adventures ahead. And we couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter with all of you by our side. 🖤
