Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Veronica Tamayo and Christian Cobb
We’re so excited for you to explore this beautiful island while you’re here! Whether you’re craving beach time, adventure, or just a great glass of wine, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of our favorite things to do:

Get lost in Palma's Old Town

Palma, IB, Spain

Stroll through the charming streets of Palma’s old town, pop into cute boutiques, and grab a café con leche at a sidewalk café. Don’t miss La Seu Cathedral—it’s massive, gorgeous, and right by the ocean. While you’re in the area, check out the Arab Baths, a peaceful little courtyard tucked away in the old town. We have tons of recommendations for the area so feel free to text us!

Beach Day at One of Mallorca’s Calas

Sant Antoni de Portmany, IB 07650, Spain

Calas are small, secluded beaches with crystal-clear water and picture-perfect scenery. Here are some of the best ones to check out: Cala Llombards – A stunning turquoise cove with soft sand, perfect for swimming. Calo des Moro – One of the coolest beaches on the island (get there early!). Cala Pi – A long, narrow cala with shallow water and a peaceful vibe. Cala Deià – A rocky beach with unreal views and a cute seaside restaurant. Cala Mondragó – Located in a nature reserve, with white sand and hiking trails nearby. Cala Mitjana - Hidden cove on the east side of the island Pack your sunscreen, grab a towel, and spend the day soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine. We recommend driving yourself to these as it could be hard to find ubers at the more secluded locations. Ask your hotel if they can schedule taxis in advance for you :)

The Most Scenic Drive to Deià & Valldemossa

Deià, IB 07179, Spain

Take a drive through the Tramuntana Mountains and soak up the unreal views as you wind your way to the storybook villages of Deià and Valldemossa. Think cobblestone streets, dreamy little cafés, and stunning sea views. We stayed in Deia last summer and it was magical. Here are some of our favorite spots: De Monio – The cutest ceramic store/café, run by the sweetest couple, Jorge & Jaume. La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel – Luxe vibes, beautiful views, and yummy spritzes (& Iberico ham!). Ceramics by Joanna – Gorgeous, handmade pottery. Sa Fonda – Fun spot for a delicious meal, spanish beer, and live music. Obsolete Deià – One of a kind clothing, rugs, and accessories. Café Social – Great coffee. Ca’s Patro March – An iconic, seafood restaurant at Cala Deia beach (reserve ahead!). Sa Foradada - For cliffside paella with a view. Go at sunset! You’ll want to spend all day wandering, eating, and soaking it all in. Make time for Cala Deia beach, but get there early!

Ride the Vintage Train to Sóller

Sóller, IB 07100, Spain

Catch the vintage train in Palma and ride through orange groves and mountains to the beautiful town of Sóller. Once you arrive, grab a fresh-squeezed orange juice in the main square or hop on the tram to Port de Sóller (Christian's favorite place on the island) for some seaside tapas and fun bars. If you’re not feeling the train ride back, it’s easy to Uber or taxi back to Palma but book your ride in advance just in case. While you’re in the area, here are some of our favorite spots to eat and drink: Neni Restaurant – Great views, delicious food, and a fun vibe. Patiki Beach – A beachfront, farm-to-table gem with fresh seafood and local ingredients. Bar Bodega – Cozy, no frills spot for local wines and tapas. Blai Bar – Laid back bar with great cocktails Nautilus – A clifftop restaurant with INSANE sunset views and amazing seafood. Don't ask Veronica about this place because she fell asleep at the table due to jet lag. Christian really loved it here though.

Sa Calobra & Torrent de Pareis

PM, Spain

For the thrill seekers and nature lovers, Sa Calobra is a must. You can get there by boat from Port de Sóller or take the wildest, most winding road with jaw-dropping views (seriously, it's crazy). Once you arrive, walk through the rock tunnels to find Torrent de Pareis, a stunning gorge where you can swim in the bluest water we've ever seen.

Santanyí & Cala Llombards

Santanyí, IB 07650, Spain

On the far east side of the island is Santanyí, a super charming little town with golden buildings, cute shops, and a great market (Wednesdays & Saturdays). After you’ve explored, head to Cala Llombards, one of the dreamiest little coves on the island. Crystal-clear water, white sand, and total paradise vibes. (tbh we never made it here on our trip but it was heavily recommended!)

Explore the Caves of Drach

s/n Carretera de les Coves, Porto Cristo, IB 07680, Spain

If you’re in the mood for something totally unique, visit the Cuevas del Drach in Porto Cristo. These caves look straight out of a movie, and they have an underground lake where you can catch live music.

Fundació Miró Mallorca

29 Carrer de Saridakis, Palma, IB 07015, Spain

Art lovers, this one’s for you! The Fundació Miró is an incredible museum dedicated to the works of Joan Miró, who spent much of his life on the island. You’ll get to see his bold, colorful paintings, sculptures, and even his preserved studio where it looks like he just stepped out for a coffee. The museum is just a short taxi or Uber ride from Palma’s center and has gorgeous views of the sea. Even if you’re not huge on museums, the vibe here is super cool and inspiring.
