It all started when I opened Hinge and saw this cute, funny guy’s profile. I thought, “Okay, he’s cute and he’s got jokes, swipe right!” We matched, started chatting, and set up a Wednesday night date at Hermanito’s. I may have pregamed with a little rosé (because, why not?) and showed up in a silly-goofy mode. Three margaritas later, I was thinking, “Wow, he’s really funny… and even cuter in person.” Then he said his favorite song was “Who Says” by Selena Gomez and that’s when I knew. The night ended with me insisting I could walk home because I was “Little Miss Independent.” He thought I ghosted him when I didn’t text back… but really, I was just too busy falling asleep giggling and drunk. Fast forward, we’ve been inseparable! Who would’ve thought that one hinge match could lead to a lifetime together!
