Today, Tomorrow, Forever

Kietta and Kayla met back in middle school, at DSA in Durham, North Carolina. Kayla says she knew Kietta was the one when she brushed her hair in a ponytail after she had broken her hair bow. Years later, we reconnected in our adult life when Kietta chose to slide in Kayla’s DM’s on instagram. We spent countless hours talking on the phone long distance, traveling back and forth just to see one another until ultimately we decided we wanted this forever and there was no need to further run from the love we both craved so deeply. After receiving the blessing from both of our parents, Kayla proposed on Christmas night, at their home, in front of the Christmas tree and the rest was history. We can’t wait to share more of our love story with you on, February 14, 2026.
