Our Story
Erik and I had always knew of each other and shared mutual friends. We both ended up on a camping trip Summer 2021 shared with the same friends and hit it off.
Erik asked me to be his girlfriend the morning of his Dad's 60th birthday and meeting his parents for the first time. He introduced me as his girlfriend.
We moved in together the Summer of 2023 and got our pup Ford, Christmas of 2024.
In September 2025, Erik took me to Gulf Shores, AL for our 4 year anniversary. I thought that he was buying himself more time by taking me away for the weekend and was not sure if he was going to propose. We made plans to watch the sunset on the beach and head to dinner. Over a bottle of wine and my junk music playlist, Erik got on one knee and asked me to marry him!
Fun fact: there was a sweet couple headed to the beach to play games for date night, who saw the whole engagement and recorded the entire thing! They even came over and took pictures of us together and shared in our moment.
