Cotton Hall is a beautiful, historic venue with magnificent mossy oak trees scattered throughout the property (will make for beautiful photos)! Please plan to arrive by 11:00am to ensure you're able to park and make your way to the ceremony site before the procession begins. The ceremony will take place outdoors under the "Alley of Oaks" behind the left side of the Main House. Once the ceremony concludes, guests will make their way to the reception area for cocktail hour while family photos are taken with the Bride & Groom! Drinks & Food will be available at this time. Once we've wrapped up photos, out game day will begin! We will have a TON of yard games set-up to play including but not limited to Volleyball, Corn Hole, Spike Ball, Croquet, Giant Jenga, & More! Bring a change of clothes so you can enjoy the sunshine and have fun with us!
Yes! We will have Duvall Catering & Events providing food. Alcoholic beverages will be provided by Lowcountry Taps which will include beer, seltzer, signature cocktails, and wine. We will also have ice coolers with non-alcoholic beverages!
The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. The ceremony will take place under the "Alley of Oaks" on the property (shaded naturally by trees) and then the reception will be held in the back yard of the estate with a tent! The house will also be available should anyone want to escape indoors, but we encourage most of our guests to stay outdoors and enjoy the party with us!
Don't get us wrong, we love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. Thank you for respecting our wishes!
Please plan to wear cocktail attire for the ceremony from 11:00am-12:00pm and for cocktail hour from 12:00pm-12:30pm. Please also plan to bring a change of clothes if you would like to participate in games after the ceremony and cocktail hour conclude! We will have a TON of yard games to take part in and we want you to be able to enjoy them without worrying about getting grass stains on your nicer clothes!
Due to having to keep our wedding guest list under 75 people, we have only allotted a plus one to certain family members and friends. If your wedding invite does not include a plus one, we ask that you please not bring anybody else with you. Thank you for respecting our wishes!
