Good To Know

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get a little fancy with us. Ladies, we’re loving midi or maxi dresses. Gentlemen, suits, sports coats, or a sharp button-down and dress pants. Since we’re celebrating on the lake in September, a light layer for the evening is a great idea. Please note that the reception will be held on grass, so we recommend ladies wear wedges, block heels, flats, or other lawn-friendly footwear.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 15, 2026 so we can finalize our guest count.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we kindly ask that only guests named on the invitation attend. If your invitation includes a plus one, we are happy to welcome your guest as well.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 12:15-12:30 PM so you can find parking and be comfortably seated before our ceremony begins at 1:00 PM.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes — there will be an open bar for guests to enjoy! We just ask that you show our bartenders some love and kindness (tips are always appreciated).

Question

Parking and Transportation

Answer

Cross in the Woods Shrine has two parking lots available for the ceremony. From there, the reception site is approximately a 30-minute drive. For those who prefer not to drive, a shuttle will be available beginning at 4:15 PM from the Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront Inn. Just a heads up, the shuttle has limited seating and will be first come, first serve, but will do its best to transport as many guests as possible to and from the reception throughout the evening. There is also limited parking available at the reception site at Point Nipigon for guests who choose to drive directly.
