In July 2019 when I first saw Larry I instantly knew that we would be together. We worked together at Firehouse Subs and After about a month or so in August of 2019 we started dating and falling in love with one another. After getting to know one another a little more we then realized that we had a family connection. My grandparents (Charles and Joyce Waller) married Larry's parents way before me and him knew one another and I also knew Larry's brother my brother in love (Damien Rudolph) since the first grade because we attended Rockwell Elementary together. I always remembered Damien, but I never knew he had an older brother and, Larry knew my brother (Shemar Pettaway) but had no idea that he had a sister. That was no coincidence. We met at the perfect time. After a few months I left firehouse subs and started a new job at Fresh Healthy Cafe in February of 2020 and a month or so later Larry joined the team at Fresh with me. In March of 2020 we practically managed Fresh Cafe throughout the entire pandemic together by ourselves. Even through all of the hardship we always knew we were better together. In 2021 I left Fresh Cafe and joined the team of The Wacky Shrimp in Daphne. After working at the Wacky shrimp for about a month or so I urged Larry to leave Fresh and come with me to the wacky shrimp (once again we were inseparable). He did leave and we kept dating and working together. Fast forward to May of 2022 I rededicated my life to Jesus and Larry was baptized for the first time ever and we did it together. In September of 2022 we found out we were pregnant with our first born son Legend and it hit us like a wave but, we had such a great pregnancy surrounded by love and support. There was a moment in the pregnancy where we were about to get married but, it wasn't the right time. Throughout my pregnancy I worked at the Wacky shrimp until I was 7 1/2 months pregnant and On May 18, 2023 we had Legend Lee Rudolph our firstborn son. Our relationship has been strong but having Legend has made it stronger. Through all of the hardships and trials in this relationship we have grown up so much, and we have accomplished so much. We have been through some of the hardest things. Many times we lost our faith in getting back together so eventually we let go and let God do the work in us. We've gone off and dated other people but, we always knew that we felt the most at home when we were together. God has restored our connection better than ever. We have remained being the best of friends even through the most trying times in our life. God has blessed us with a beautiful life and I can't wait to see all that he does. The perfect author is writing our story, there have been bumps in the road but our stories are just testimonies of his goodness.
